Mustard Oregano Chops, Instant Pot Mashed Potatoes with butter on top!, Tossed Greens with Persimmon Vinaigrette, Easy Baked Mushrooms with Thyme and Garlic, Fudgy Chocolate Pudding Cake, Our suggestions for your own Sunday Dinner at 3:00...
Who sits around your table is more important than what sits upon it ready to be enjoyed, by all who gather. This was a given in my childhood family home. And truthfully we were no wealthy, so not every dinner was a roast or other special cut of meat, cooked to perfection. But Sunday dinner was always special. Food cooked with love and served with pride, no matter what was dished up into serving bowls and platters.
In my family, we always enjoyed Sunday dinner, a Sunday drive, and once home again, dessert. To me, in the child's heart that has remained, is the perfect Sunday afternoon!
The food changes, even the sights, places, and routes enjoyed on our drives changed through the year, but one thing remained the same. Sunday dinner was at 3:00, won't you please join us, in this tradition...
Mustard Oregano Chops Assemble the night before to allow to marinate for Sunday dinner. The recipe makes more than one meal, perfect to store in the freezer for future dinners on those busy nights.
Mashed Potatoes with butter on top! This is the only way I cook mashed potatoes anymore!
Easy Baked Mushrooms with Thyme and Garlic, just the right side-dish to put beside those flavorful pork chops!
Tossed Salad Greens with Persimmon Vinaigrette. So delicious over greens, making this the perfect salad to enjoy after the holidays.
Fudgy Chocolate Pudding Cake. What else needs to be said? This is whole grain deliciousness to enjoy without guilt!
