Gardening and Foraging, A DIY Farmhouse Floral Arrangement, Instant Pot Pulled Chicken, and Establishing Healthy Habits are this week's featured posts!

Hello and Welcome!

Our own little community here in Montana is beginning to open up! Much like another springtime to look to for a little outdoor time, fresh flowers, and the promise of sunshine and good times with family and friends.

Gardens are being planted, farmer's markets are opening, and social outings planned. I hope these next weeks as they unfold, bring back some joy to your neighborhoods, your family, and you. This has been a trying time for so many. May health and happiness increase as the days go by! I am glad you have joined us today.

Baked Soup with Biscuits

Got soup? Make a delicious dinner by combining homemade soup with a baked biscuit topping! You can even let the kids help make Baked Soup and Biscuits for dinner.

This baked soup idea is especially handy for those busy, busy times when everyone is hungry and there are a million other things that need to get done! Like laundry. And not to put too much on your chore list but it is yard work season! Or relaxing and getting caught up with the family about how their day went. Or even just taking a moment for yourself.

Individual Blueberry Cakes

These little Individual Blueberry Cakes are delicious! They are also very easy to whip up at a moment's notice, but I will tell you right now. My husband has requested that from now on, I double the recipe...

Have you found that delicious yet easy-to-make dessert for just the two of you can be a bit difficult? Me too! Partly because I no longer have a seething sweet tooth, so, dessert has not been a priority. Now my dear husband could eat ice cream every night and be completely satisfied (and truth be told, there is ice cream available, most of the time), but there are times I want a bit of dessert to enjoy...

Laurie's Super Easy Corn Casserole

Laurie's Super Easy Corn Casserole is one of those recipes you will find yourself making often! Why? Because it is that good, that frugal, that easy...

I like this recipe for many reasons. 1) it can be made on the spur of the moment, from a well-stocked pantry. 2) it is tasty! #) it is frugal. 4) it is fun to make with kids! There really aren't many steps to this recipe, but crumbling the soda crackers is especially fun for little ones to help the cook. And, 5) don't we all need more easy and delicious recipes, made quickly from pantry ingredients, in our lives?
