Encouraging Hearts and Home 01.07.2021

My Favorite Books of the Year, Starting a Vegetable Garden from Scratch, Lots to Love 10-inch Doll Sweater Set Pattern and Monthly Menu Planning Resources are this week's featured posts!

Hello and Welcome!

So far we are having a dry and cold winter. For the most part, our winter's here in this part of Montana come in mid to late January and last until April. Since we are still fairly new to Montana, we are still learning the weather patterns. We do have plans in place for March, get the rest of the second floor completed in the shop, and get the power hooked up!

Encouraging Hearts and Home Blog Hop and Link up!

With a new grandbaby on the way, we are wanting to get quite a few of the chores on our 5-year plan completed, sooner than the original thought about time frame! But we will start with the shop, the power, and work our way to getting the garden beds established, a girl has got to eat!

Before summer is over I am hoping we will also have the hen house completed, even if we have to wait until next spring for a few chickens. Oh, and some compost bins, see it never ends. But making a comfortable home is a lifetime of caring for the spaces around you. I like that...

And now, it's time for this week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!

Lots to Love, a 10-inch doll Sweater Set. Although our granddaughter now too old for dolls such as this, I love to put toys under our Christmas tree as decorations in place of wrapped gifts, this little sweetheart just might be part of next year's Christmas decor...
