Hello and Welcome!
We are now raising baby chicks! They arrived last week, and unfortunately, it did not go off perfectly. Needless to say, we won't be ordering mail-order chicks again. But we currently have a lively bunch of 10 chicks! And we also have quite an assortment of types, from bantams to Easter Eggers!
This angle shows about half of our flock of ten, but they are lively, full of cheeps, and like most babies time is mostly spent, feeding, watering, and changing the bedding on the brooder floor! The cats are also quite interested, but with no aggression whatsoever. I think it is more attention-seeking behavior on their part to remain the cats in charge!
