Hello and Welcome!
First off, let me say I am usually a bit more prepared for meeting my deadline of having this post typed, photos tagged, and a bit "about us" offered by Wednesday evening at the latest, but here I am on a Thursday morning getting it done, yikes! Am I slipping, no, safer to say busy. Like everyone else, we are busy too. Property and home to care for, personal goals, and volunteerism to complete.
And I guess I decided this morning that instead of skipping my little story offered before Encouraging Hearts and Home Blog Hop starts, I would be real, as real as is possible! Busy is why I keep a pantry, and a root cellar, and have recipes that are easy to prepare, with ingredients on hand. Busy is why denim is my favorite color! You see I like being busy!
As a retired Administrator in Senior care (both Assisted Living and a Senior Complex for Independent Living) I noticed a behavior change in my clients. Retired meant sitting down, and sitting down meant no activity. And let's be honest no activity leads to poor health. And from there, well we all know the outcome...
So I proudly sit here this morning typing out my little contribution, late, but proud to be late. Because I/we have been busy, and I am proud to say that busy is so good for my health...so I wish you a wonderful (and busy!) week ahead. Mine like always is booked solid, but not too solid to enjoy.
PS we are on grandson countdown, 21 days, and counting!
