Fresh Strawberry Cobbler, a DIY Light Up Pallet Flag, an Easy Peasy Doll Blanket, and how to Upcycle a Cereal Box into an Elegant Gift Bag are this week's featured posts!
Hello and Welcome!
Well, I must start out by being honest, the straw bale potato patch is. at this point a failure! I think one thing I should do for myself is to follow folks in the same growing region as we are because just like sourdough where you live determines the final result. The upside? We have two bales of straw for mulch...
Our little grandson is one month old! Where did the time go? Just like with raising your own children, the time it takes for the grandchildren to grow up is very very fast! He is the apple of his arent's eyes, and we think he is a lot more than just OK, he is so fun and one well-loved little guy.
We are doing pretty good as newbie chicken "farmers" gathering anywhere from one to three eggs a day. Soon though the smaller girls will be laying also, so the time is now to start exploring new recipes calling for eggs. If you have a favorite, please, drop me a line! And now, it's time for this week's Encouraging Hearts & Home Blog Hop!
