Bacon Jalapeno Red Eye Jam, How to Make a Floral Crown, and Tri-Fold Card with Cute Mice, and Lemonade Recipe are my featured posts this week!
Hello and Welcome!
We are in varying stages of a summer cold in this house...gosh I haven't had a summer cold in over 5 years. I am keeping up on most of my chores, but I am so ready for bed, at bedtime! We are not the only ones, bloggers up north are also experiencing summer colds.
I made a towel into an egg "bed" to fit in a narrow basket I found while out thrifting, and it is quite handy to take along when gathering eggs.
Speaking of eggs, I am learning to substitute the tiny eggs our little hens offer for the standardized large eggs found in the supermarket. At this stage, our eggs are three to equal two store-bought eggs. Fortunately not every recipe needs precise egg amounts...but I definitely see some bread pudding in our dessert future!
In case you missed it, you can see how we remedied our snowmelt puddle problem and got rhubarb in the process...it took a while to finish and it even snowed one day we were working, but I love how it turned out!
