Our Reader's Top 10 Favorites from 2023!

We have been taking a moment for a look back for a few years now, and usually the list of the Top 10 have a decided theme, and for 2023, it is no different. Come and take a look back at the top 10 Reader's Favorites!

It won't surprise you to learn this recipe for Oven Roasted Tomatoes for Sauce or Freezer Storage, was a top 10 in 2022, as well. It seems we are all interested in feeding our families delicious, healthy food, and doing it ourselves, is even better!

Another top 10 from 2022, is How to Make Whole Wheat Self-Rising Flour! My only baking pantry mix, because it pretty much does it all!

I cannot tell you how heart warming it is that this "recipe" from my childhood continues to be in the Top 10 year after year! Mom would be so proud!

I am pleased that this post has been viewed enough to be in the Top 10 a couple of years in a row, another DIY project that is fairly easy to complete.

Another recipe that also made the Top 10 in 2022! This granola is the only granola recipe that contains sugar, but gosh it really is good!

New to the Top 10, this is a recipe I developed to have my daughter's favorite pie, just the way she likes it! Apparently, she is not the only one to wants a deep dish Pecan Pie!

Another new recipe for this year's Top 10! I have been making this for years, but a first for the Top 10. Easy to make toffee, with no candy thermometer needed! Just what the cook ordered!

Another favorite from last year's list to make the Top 10 in 2023 also! Apparently delicious food never goes out of style...

This was a Top 10 surprise last year, but a bigger surprise to be on the Top 10 list for 2023 also! Personally I love having ground bay leaves on my spice shelf.

This post is a new for the Top 10 in 2023. Chicken keeping has not slowed down, and making your own grit, is frugal and easy. I am so looking forward to having chickens once again here in East Texas!
