How to Make Easy to Peel Hard-Cooked Eggs, Stovetop Method.

Do you have problems with peeling hard-cooked eggs? I do did, until I came across this wonderful process! This post is all about How to Make Easy to Peel Hard-Cooked Eggs! Perfect every time...

Yikes, hard to peel eggs meant, I hated to make Deviled Eggs...

Perfectly peeled hard-cooked eggs have always been a challenge for me. It seems that no matter how careful I was, tiny craters were left in the egg whites while trying to get the shell off.....and when they were used for Deviled Eggs, it was embarrassing if I do say so myself.

Not really a big problem when you are making something that calls for chopped eggs, but for a dish where the finished look of the dish is important, those craters were a big issue. So can you guess who never took deviled eggs to any gatherings with friends or family, until I learned about this process?!!

I knew I couldn't be the only one who struggled with peeling hard cooked eggs.

I ran across this tip at Maple Hill 101, and it really works! And it is very easy, let me show you this process...only 3 steps (and they are all really easy!) and you too will have perfectly peeled hard-cooked eggs. No more craters in the sides of your famous and family favorite deviled eggs...

I hope this helps you in your kitchen as much as it helped me in mine! Because food always tastes better when it is also beautiful enough to eat...

  1. I struggle with making perfectly cooked easy to peel eggs too; often I think we're trying to make them with eggs that are too fresh. But I will definitely have to try this method and see if it makes a difference.

  4. I'll have to give this a try. When I cooked for a child care center, I'd boil five dozen eggs. After I cooked them, I poured off the hot water and filled the pan with cold water. I found if you hit the pan on the counter when they were done, the shells would break and cold water would seep under the shell. The peel just pulled off. And Thanks for sharing at the What's for Dinner party. Hope your week is starting great!
