Encouraging Hearts and Home 04.15.2021

30 To-Do List Items to Keep Your Home in Order, DIY Dog Bone Neck Pillow, 5 Homemade Salad Dressing Recipes to Make Tonight, and a Quick and Easy Bright Floral Wreath are this week's featured posts!

Hello and Welcome!

We have been busy working on a Bird Habitat in our yard. It has been a labor of love for a couple of reasons. First, we love having the birds visit our yard. They are a gentle reminder of how uncomplicated life really is, and if we just stand back, we might see that we might be the one's complicating it...

And of course, the more practical, a yard full of birds is the best "pesticide" ever! We have used this strategy just about everywhere we have lived and we love the results! Hearing the birds singing in the yard is a complete bonus!

Our Bird Habitat has a feeding platform and another that can be used for protected nest building. There will be a bit of ongoing work such as replacing the twigs as they are used for nest building, but it is right beside a shady sitting spot and it will be easy and enjoyable to keep it maintained...

Now that this project is completed, it is time to focus on the chicken coop, boy have those chickens been growing!
