Hello Dear Reader!
If you have been visiting here for long you know we spent the winter in Arizona and then traveled into Texas after the winter damage caused significant flooding and structural damage to our home. And it turns out that the Piney Woods of Texas began calling out softly (at first) to us. With supply chain issues we were in East Texas much longer than we had actually lived in our home in Wyoming...
Then a funny thing happened. The soft whispers of the breeze through the trees seemed to get louder and louder until we found ourselves searching for property to purchase, along with keeping track of the progress being made at home in Wyoming, for repairs to the house. Property after property was viewed until we found what was really calling out to us.
Almost six acres where both families can live, have chickens and grow a lot of our food and enjoy the warm Texas hospitality! We leave soon to begin a five day journey to our next home. But I did not want to leave you without saying how grateful I am to have the friendships formed through blogging as well as all the folks who stop by to view a recipe or two, or even enjoy a story on my creative writing page titled From the Heart...
While I do feel blessed, I did not want to be away from blogging for the next week or two without some sort of explanation. And with this being the perfect time for get togethers with friends and family I thought I would also leave you a few links in this note, offering some recipes you might be interested in trying. Some of the recipes you may have noticed before and some will be new to you, such as...

And finally this one,
