Cat of Cat's Wire writes about books, her pets, movies and so much more. She is the creator of beautiful as well as whimsical pieces of art. While they might be small, each piece is so much more than the sum of it's parts. She quickly caught my attention when I first visited her blog and I strongly recommend you drop by and take a look around and wish her a good day! You will leave with a smile on your face...

And now back to our regularly scheduled Reboot!
What's happening at our house?
Our deep freeze weather has finally passed! Fortunately it only stays that cold here for a short time, and this year seemed exceptionally cold, or is it my age....yikes! Speaking for myself a deep cold tends to seep in and turn off my creativity along with my get up and go! So we are a bit behind in the garden but our hens are actively laying eggs daily. The roses show new growth along with the blueberry bushes. And the tulips I planted have flowers ready to open. Even if I am cold and not very motivated, at least Mother Nature is!
We have gotten a bit of work completed such as this small bird habitat which will also be a source of water for the birds.
Basic maintenance is being taken care of, for our tractor. Being first time tractor owners, knowing where all the fluids go, is half the battle.
Oh and finally being successful with whole wheat sourdough bread!
So why did my husband and I put together a tiny house homestead here in East Texas?
Turns out, it is a bit of an interesting story, you can read about it here if you like...and now that we are settled in, we have also made a photo tour of our 5thwheel tiny home. You really must be organized to fit it all in, cooking, gardening, homesteading and also a bit of fun from time to time!
And from time to time when inspiration strikes, I write about it all. The good, the bad, and all the other stuff from years ago, if you have an interest in creative thoughts down on paper...you could take a gander here.
And...
I try each day to get out and take a moment for myself to observe and see the daily changes taking place on our property. These moments taken out wandering have helped me find small repairs needing done as well as a rose that might have just bloomed. I decided to photograph these findings for enjoyment yes, but also to observe the land around me along with the changes (and hopefully improvements through the years.)
