This week we are featuring Angie of Your True Self! Angie is an expert at creating artful creations out of the clothes she already has, right there, in her own closet. While she shares these useful ideas, she also lives a healthful life bringing beauty and endless youthful energy to each day. Stop by, say hello, and my guess is, Angie has some great ideas about using what you already have, right there in your own closet!

Homestead happenings...

This week in East Texas has been cold! Below freezing cold. Fortunately this only happens in the month of January. Because we enjoyed such happy times in December, it will be easy enough to get through January. But trust me, I am looking forward to the end of the cold. And then it is planting time, leading to lots of out door time to soak up the sun, as our days get longer and warmer. So tell me, how has it been in your part of the world? 

So why did my husband and I put together a tiny house homestead here in East Texas? 

Turns out, it is a bit of an interesting story, you can read about it here if you like...and now that we are settled in, we have a made a photo tour of our 5thwheel tiny home. You really must be organized to fit it all in, cooking, gardening, homesteading and also a bit of fun from time to time!

And from time to time when inspiration strikes, I write about it all. The good, the bad, and all the other stuff from years ago, if you have an interest in creative thoughts down on paper...you could take a gander here. And...

I try each day to get out and take a moment for myself to observe and see the daily changes taking place on our property. These moments taken have helped me find small repairs needing done as well as a rose that might have just bloomed. I decided to photograph these findings for a couple of reasons, first a homestead can be what you already have or it can be a work in progress. I decided to document our progress, with photos. Welcome to our Homestead...
