Salad Dressings to please the whole family!

If there is one easy way to buy less food at the grocery store it is by making your own salad dressing. And while I could also mention the cost savings, let's just concentrate on the flavor and the ease of having a variety of salad dressing recipes, both creamy and vinaigrette style, at the ready...plus you will already know the ingredient list. Because each ingredient came from your own, well stocked pantry!

Let's take a look at all the possibilities for delicious salads, shall we? So far, 19 and counting...but don't be surprised if more delicious recipes join the line up!

Parsley Buttermilk and Parmesan Cheese Salad Dressing. is creamy fresh tasting and perfect over a salad as well as offered on a crispy veggie tray as a starter. This dressing does call for fresh parsley, adding vitamins C and A to all that flavor.

Persimmon Vinaigrette.  Persimmons are a delicious and may I say unique fruit. This vinaigrette is the perfect way to introduce them to your family! I have found a fruity vinaigrette is not only enjoyed by the younger salad eaters around your table, but pretty much loved by everyone else also.

Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing Mix. Ranch salad dressing is the perfect stand-by! It goes great over tossed greens for a last minute salad or on a veggie tray. Having a homemade mix recipe is the perfect choice for Ranch Salad Dressing, because you get to customize the final flavor. And with packets of this mix in your pantry, fresh Homemade Ranch Salad Dressing is just moments away.

Roasted Lemon and Basil Salad Dressing. I admit, this one does take a bit of preplanning! But if you are like us and grill the year round, those grilled lemon halves won't be a problem. We grill up a few extras and freeze them for future batches of this dressing.

Everyday Vinaigrette.  This one should be on standby in every fridge! Perfect over tossed greens, and as a drizzle over a steamed and chilled vegetables, such as asparagus or cauliflower.

Simple Sweet and Sour Salad Dressing. Just like the Everyday Vinaigrette above, this one is perfect for those last minute composed salads or tossed greens. Plus like the names says, it is simple to make!

Chunky Fruit Vinaigrette. Any soft and ripe piece of fruit can be the star of the show in this vinaigrette! Perfect for that soft and fragrant nectarine, peach or plum. Keep this recipe handy, it is the perfect way to offer new flavors in a fruity vinaigrette.

Onion Island Salad Dressing. We upscaled the usual 1000 Island dressing to include the delicious flavor of pickled red onion. This is the current favorite salad dressing for my husband, just a bit tart, a bit sweet and so tasty! And yes, it is perfect with celery chunks!

Bistro Style Mustard and Shallot Vinaigrette. Is assertive, delicious and this vinaigrette also makes a delicious drizzle over sliced potatoes and eggs for an impromptu last minute salad!

Honey Mustard Vinaigrette.  Nothing artificial to add flavor or color, just real food ingredients from your own pantry. Plus the flavor is pure, honey and mustard.

Cranberry and Thyme Vinaigrette. Cranberries and thyme are a delicious flavor pairing, and perfect over mixed greens. Different and yet, so delicious.

Casey's Blue Cheese Vinaigrette. The background story of this dressing is all about family, and the dressing is just as special! Blue cheese vinaigrette the whole family will enjoy.

Smoked Paprika Vinaigrette.  Yes, delicious enough to be served as simply as, a platter of sliced cucumbers. And perfect over tossed greens!

Maple Balsamic Vinaigrette.  This recipe is proof that just a few ingredients can come together and create a vinaigrette more delicious than the sum of it's parts!

Parsley Honey and Lemon Salad Dressing. Yep, another parsley salad dressing! Why? Because you don't get more nutrition than what is available in parsley. Plus this dressing tastes great!

Creamy Paprika Salad Dressing.  Not only is this dressing easy, it is also delicious and can be whipped up at a moment's notice! Simple ingredients come together beautifully in this creamy dressing.

The Finest Salad Dressing. Don't let the plain look fool you, this is a sophisticated salad dressing. Interestingly the delicious herby flavor comes from bay leaves...

Julia's Caesar Salad Dressing. Simple and so delicious! PS no raw egg needed...this will become your new favorite Caesar dressing.

Chunky Raspberry Vinaigrette. The best part of this vinaigrette after the taste of course, is that you can make this vinaigrette the year round with just a handful of IQF raspberries. This vinaigrette is delicious over a whole meal salad containing grilled chicken...
