Carrots keep well once harvested, are available year-round, plus they taste great. And they quickly become best friends with a bit of butter, brown sugar, and cinnamon! This now brings us to Butter and Cinnamon Glazed Carrots! Everyone loves these carrots, there is never any left in the bowl at mealtime. They are so good that if you are serving more than four people, you will want to double the recipe...

"These carrots are super delicious!", and that folks, is all the introduction this recipe really needs! So it would be a good idea to put them on your table for family and friends to enjoy, as soon as is possible.....and remember the best parts about Butter and Cinnamon Glazed Carrots, easy to find ingredients, easy one pan preparation, and delicious taste! Ingredients needed for this recipe:
  • carrots
  • salt
  • butter
  • cinnamon
  • brown sugar, did you know you can make your own? our recipe found here.
You will also need the following:
  • vegetable peeler
  • paring knife
  • measuring spoons
  • cutting board
  • large shallow pan with lid
Now we are ready to begin!

How to make Butter and Cinnamon Glazed Carrots.
Butter and Cinnamon Glazed Carrots. 

Butter and Cinnamon Glazed Carrots
adapted from:  keep the beat, delicious healthy dinners

6 large organic carrots
2 T butter
3-4 T brown sugar - your choice, mild or sweeter
1 t cinnamon
dash of salt

Peel carrots, slice on the slant into 3/4 inch slices. 
Place in a shallow pan (shallow pans are perfect for vegetables, they need much less water and vegetables retain more vitamins!) Cook until just tender. 

Drain very well. Using the same pan, add remaining ingredients, using medium heat, cook and toss carrots until well glazed. Serve.
