Hello and welcome to another great weekend!
Wait, did I hear that correctly? Yes you did!
Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot is currently shared over three FIVE blogs:
Let us introduce ourselves! We each offer a different perspective on life and hope you enjoy not only this link-up, but all that you may find, when you visit any of our personal blogs!
Marsha@ Marsha in the Middle - Marsha started blogging in 2021 as an exercise in increasing her neuroplasticity. Oh, who are we kidding? Marsha started blogging because she loves clothes, and she loves to talk or, in this case, write! You can find her on her blog, Marsha in the Middle.
Rena@ it's all fine What Ever tickles the fancy ~ Rena joins us from Southern California where she has lived forever!. She is a proud wife, mom and retired woman who now after years of left brain work in the workforce is itching to use that right brain side in her continued zest for life!
Cat@ Cat's Wire ~ Cat loves all things "cat" along with books, movies, crafting and more cats! Wait, did I mention cats? She joins us from Germany where she also works in communications and media, when she is not creating or crafting!
Melynda@ Scratch Made Food! & DIY Homemade Household - Our name says it all! Scratch cooking and baking while living on a three generation homestead in East Texas. In my spare time I garden, chase chickens, spend as much time as possible with my grandson, cook and bake bread, oh and knit. Life is good!
Lisa@ Boondock Ramblings - Lisa shares about the fiction she writes and reads, her faith, homeschooling, photography and much much more on her blog, Boondock Ramblings.
I invite you to follow our hosts on their individual blogs and on any of the social media pages you visit, making it easy to keep up to date with just about every little thing going on! And there are many...many little things! We tend to be a busy group.
It's our goal to honor all bloggers at Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!
And our new feature, that I am most excited about! As promised, we have rebooted the reboot! In honor of the bloggers who take the time each week to share their creative content with us. We will be featuring a different blogger each week! We invite you to stop by the featured bloggers blog, take a look around and say hello!
This week we are featuring...
From the About page:
My name is Penny Kocher, I am 79 years old, and I live in the UK, in a small county town called Lewes. I used to write two blogs: Frugal Fashion Shopper and My Other Blog.
My reasons for setting up this new blog is that I am approaching 80 and the key question I have is, how do we make these years the ‘best of times’ whilst also acknowledging and dealing with our ageing bodies.
So, this new blog will have posts on health issues, but I will also write about films, television, books and visits to art galleries. Occasionally thrown into the mix will be a post on style, and ones that are more serious and/or political.
Above all I hope to have conversations with everyone who reads this blog. Ageing comes to us all – let’s look at this ageing lark together!
Do drop by and say hello from all of us at WTJR! Follow the link to visit Penny and her great blog! Conversations With An Older Woman.
We would love to have additional Co-Hosts to share in the creativity and the fun! If you think this would be a good fit for you and you like having fun (come on now, who doesn't?!) while still being creative, drop one of us an email and someone will get back with you!

And now back to our regularly scheduled Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot!
What's happening at our house?
Why did my husband and I put together a tiny house homestead here in East Texas?
In case you missed them, here are two of our favorite recipes that we enjoy on regular rotation from Scratch Made Food & DIY Homemade Household.
And these, that caught my eye!: One from each page of shared posts!

Oh I hear you on the cold making you feel lazy... I'm laying here this morning (where it is 11/12 degrees) trying to talk myself into getting out of bed and heading to the gym... I really don't want to though.
ReplyDeleteJoanne, Right, I always get to it, but it always takes longer in the cold!
DeleteI totally get not wanting to head outside when it gets cold! It's been daunting this week! Winter has definitely arrived in Minnesota... we've had a foot of snow and yesterday morning the temps dipped to -7! BRRR! Thanks, as always, for cohosting one of our favorite link ups, Melynda! We're sharing #34, #35 and #36 this week. Happy December!
ReplyDeleteLaura, you are very welcome, thanks so much for joining us each week!
DeleteIt is so hard to get motivated to go outside into the garden when it's cold, but I find if I just do it, I get warmed up quickly. Thanks for the party.
ReplyDeleteAmy when it is all said and done, I get out at 6:30 each morning to let the hens out of the coop. The animals never wait for their care. But gosh I don't mind getting right back in the house. Thanks for joining us at WTJR this week.
DeleteGood morning, dear Melynda, thanks for this party, enjoy your weekend. You will get to the work still left, take a breather.
ReplyDeleteMy entries this week #49,51+52
Esme, thanks so much for joining us!

Debbie, as always thanks so much for joining us, have a great week ahead.
DeleteHi Melynda, Thanks so much for hosting Weekend Traffic Jam Reboot 12 5 25. My shares are #70 thru 74. Keep warm, be cozy, and be well. Nancy Andres @ Colors 4 Health.
ReplyDeleteNancy thanks so much for stopping by to share with us at WTJR, I know we all appreciate it!
DeleteI hope that cold snap is finally moving on and you can warm up, Melynda! It makes me ache too but we have cold weather a lot, which means I don't do much in the wintertime. That's not always easy for me since the rest of my family likes to get out and do things. We make do, though!
ReplyDeleteLisa we have another wave on the way, December is our cold month here in East Texas. I do take advantage of any day above 40 degrees to be outside and stay active. Thanks so much for stopping by, I appreciate it.
