Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits

Hi Friends! Who is looking for a delicious, creamy, fruit and honey-sweetened yogurt parfait? One that is easy to make, and perfect to make as a project with your little loved ones? 

These Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits are just the ticket, for a healthy and delicious dessert or afternoon treat that will keep you satisfied until dinner rolls around. With spring peeking out from under winter skies, we will all see and enjoy more outdoor time. Increased activity usually means increased appetites. It is always easier to say yes to the request for a treat when they are made from wholesome ingredients. Make sure you are ready, and I know these parfaits will help. 

Ingredients needed for this recipe:
  • bananas
  • kiwis
  • honey yogurt
You will also need the following:
  • small knife
  • small plate 
  • measuring cup
  • serving dishes
Now we are ready to begin!

How to make a delicious fruit and yogurt parfait, Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits

Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits
by the seat of my pants!
serves 2, simply double or triple to serve more!

1 large or 2 small very ripe bananas, chilled (put the banana into the fridge in the morning...)
1/2 c honey yogurt

1 - 2 ripe kiwi fruit depending upon the size

Peel and slice the kiwi(s). 
For garnish and presentation, cut one slice in half and set aside. 
Dice the remaining kiwi slices.
Mash the banana, fold in the honey yogurt.

Easy and delicious, Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits
Layer the banana mixture and the kiwi fruit pieces in an attractive glass serving dishes.

Top with the reserved half slices. 

Chill until serving time. Enjoy...

  3. Oh this couldn't be easier. I will make these over the next week or so using whatever fruit we have. It's so good to have ideas to use the food we have at the moment in a slightly different way.
