Christmas Special Senior Salon Pit Stop! Week #2

Welcome! The Christmas Special Senior Salon Pit Stop is now open!

We invite you to come and take a look at all the wonderful recipes, craft and upcycling ideas in the line up. Along with thrifting treasures and great family friendly articles also being shared today. I can guarantee that, you will be pleasantly surprised, with all the good stuff you are about to find…so I invite you to come and take a look. And while you are here to visit, I hope you have brought along some ideas of your own to share!

Hello and welcome to this week’s Christmas Special Senior Salon Pit Stop.

This is one link-up that includes great informational posts for everyone to enjoy, as well as a welcoming platform for bloggers to share their latest content. And with so many family friendly posts being shared, I know you will find something new to inspire you, teach you or simply entertain you!

Personally I am always looking for a new recipe to enjoy or another do-it-yourself household idea. And let's not forget anything outdoors-y for some family time together! I can hardly wait to see what you brought to share with us all, this week.

Please note:

The Christmas Special Senior Salon Pit Stop will be open for two weeks. Please do come back and share with us again next week! We will return to our regular schedule for our first link-up in the new year on January 5th, 2026.

We all hope to see you there!

And from all of us at the Senior Salon Pit Stop, Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. And a big thank you to all who share here for being a big part of this weekly link-up. Where great ideas, recipes and crafts are shared.

It just would not be the same without you!

Part of the fun, is seeing what's new! And we also encourage you to share an older post or two needing a bit of love and attention! All family friendly posts are welcome.

Take a moment and meet a new blogger this week!

It is always interesting as well as informative to see what everyone is up to and what they have been working on. Please remember to visit one post for each post that you share, before you leave. Your visit will definitely make someone’s day brighter and isn’t that the best part of any link-up, or blog hop gathering, getting to know one another? So let’s get started by meeting the crew! And if you are a blogger, we would love to have you join us as a crew member…

However...

***I do have one small favor to ask, please drop a comment telling me your posting/link-up numbers so that I can come and visit your posts and say hello. Thank you for being such a valuable part of SSPS!

Do remember to stop by and meet the other crew members! We all offer a unique take on life and produce content that will serve you in one way or another. Which is exactly why, we are bloggers! But in addition to being bloggers, we also have busy lives, jobs and families, just like you, thank you for joining us at SSPS!

Now, Let's celebrate these bloggers!

Below are my featured posts, from last week's Senior Salon Pit Stop!

Why stop with three? Here are the three five recipes and three five topics that caught my eye from last week's SSPS! I invite you to stop by each post and take a look. All featured posts will be shared to our the SSPS features board, when they contain a pin-able image. Thank you one and all for being a part of SSPS!

Recipe and Food Features:

As a food blogger it is no surprise that I start with food! Healthy delicious food is my daily goal. For myself and for my family. I love getting ideas and recipes from the many posts shared with SSPS! What fun, to try new ideas in the kitchen! And nothing keeps family and friends around the table as much as good times and good food shared by all.

Information and Topics Features:

As a food blogger sharing a variety of different topics and perspectives is new for me, but aren't we all trying to enjoy life as much as is possible? While learning something new along the way? I think these ideas might come in handy, or fuel a new idea in us all, and a bit of creativity is always fun to learn from.
