Slow Cook and No Cook Favorites for the Warm days ahead!

Are you looking for a Slow Cook and No-Cook recipes? If so you are in luck, we are sharing some of our favorites! Not only delicious they are definitely easy on the cook!
 


No matter how hot it gets, dinner still needs to be cooked. Or sometimes it is a cooling beverage or a dessert because there is something to celebrate. But after the third day of burgers and dogs (and believe me, there is nothing wrong with those family favorites for dinner!) everyone might be ready to enjoy something different for dinner. Why not make it just as easy on the cook by enjoying these Slow Cook and No-Cook Recipes

For those with really hungry eaters at the table, add a loaf of French bread and some butter to the mix! 

Let's start with our Slow Cook favorites:



Three Ingredient Pineapple Thai Chicken Not too sweet, not too fruity! Tender with a bit of a spicy flavor, but no real heat...



Slow Cooker Scalloped Potatoes and Ham will satisfy the hungriest one at the table! Nothing beats potatoes with cheese and chunks of ham.



Or you might consider this tasty and easy to throw together Melt in Your Mouth Meat Loaf!  Plus leftovers make great sandwiches!



Asian Inspired Pork Roast will become a new foamily favorite! This method makes a tender roast, not dry or tough. 


How about some Slow Cooker sides?



But if baked beans are on your mind, you will love this version of Slow-cooker Potluck Baked Beans. 



Does your family love Mac and Cheese, then you will enjoy this recipe for Slow Cooker Mac and Cheese!



If you are fortunate enough to have leftovers Slow Cooker Roasted Potatoes make great hash browns!



Not only are these easy to prepare, and delicious, but Roasted Root Vegetables is a great way to get your five a day...


Let's not forget this Slow Cook dessert!


This Fudgy Chocolate Pudding Cake will be the one to serve, and yes it is perfect with some whipped cream, or for a real celebration a scoop of vanilla or coffee fudge swirl ice cream!



Let's bring on the No-Cook favorites!



Mark Bittman's Black Bean and Mango Salad  Don't be afraid to try this unusual combination, it really is delicious!



Kale Apple and Carrot Slaw, because you can never eat too many vegetables and this is a really delicious slaw!



Like the Black Bean and Mango Salad, this one might be new for your family. But a new (the the family) salad is a delicious way to introduce new vegetables and flavors. I hope you give this Crunchy Tangy Jicama Waldorf Salad a try. 



Grape and Banana Fruit Medley is still delicious after all these years! That's the fun part of bring back some of the older vintage recipes, they still call for delicious ingredients. 



Creamy Banana and Kiwi Parfaits This is a refreshing parfait that is nothing more than fruit and yogurt. The flavors of banana and kiwi are lovely together. PS if you desire a bit of whipped cream, please feel free to add a drift of cream to your parfait!



This no-cook dessert is not only delicious it is healthy! 
Peaches and Cream Chia Pudding, one of our new favorites, and yep that is whipped cream on top, it is dessert after all!




A little bit dessert and a part beverage, Let's Make a Root Beer Float Punch Bowl! Plus everyone can serve themselves...



You will find yourself making Aqua Fresca often. Use any fruit, but the cantaloupe version is so so good!

I've never tried making a dessert in my slow cooker apart from the Christmas pudding. Also the Creamy Banana Kiwi parfaits and the chia dessert.
