If you want the whole family to sit down to breakfast at the same time, these Easy Oven Baked Whole Wheat Pancakes are for you. Start the day right with breakfast with those you love!
We often have pancakes for breakfast because they are a favorite of my husband's. But even with just the two of us, I was at the stove while he ate breakfast...not horrible, but definitely not a shared meal. Then one day while we were volunteering as National Park Service support staff, I got the idea to pour the batter into a small pan and give it a quick bake in the oven. As it turned out, it was just the technique we were looking for! We each got to enjoy fresh hot pancakes, together.
I love the One Cup Pancake recipe from Jaime Oliver. It is simple enough for younger cook-savvy kids to make their own breakfast, and it adapted perfectly to my recipe for Whole Wheat Self Rising Flour. I like my pancakes with vanilla yogurt and applesauce. My husband has more of a sweet tooth and prefers real maple syrup and walnuts. What is your favorite topping for pancakes?
