Putting delicious food on the table for your family and friends doesn't have to take all day. And that is why I love sharing lists of some of our favorite recipes. Especially the ones that fit a healthy theme.
Fruit for dessert is always a great idea and here are many delicious ideas calling for ingredients that span the growing seasons or are conveniently canned at the peak of freshness and waiting at the marketplace or your own pantry. Either way, A Growing List of Our Favorite Fruit Desserts is sure to give you some new ideas!
Honey and Cinnamon Baked Apples. This is one of the simplest, yet most delicious baked apple you will ever make. Plus it is the perfect use for those apples that are getting a bit soft...
Grape and Banana Fruit Medley. There is a magic transformation from fruit to dessert when you make a simple sauce with sour cream and brown sugar. Yes, it is an oft repeated ingredient pairing, but each dessert has it's own charm!
Cocoa Dusted Nutty Date Bites, are so good, you will think you are eating a candy bar, but of course you aren't! Just healthy fruit made fresh in your own kitchen.
